Good Governance, Social Impact and Fundraising against All Odds.
Driven by a heart for their causes, most third sector actors have no qualms wearing different hats in the delivery of their services. Interestingly, they deliver some of the most valuable work to some of the most vulnerable in society with some of the least resources at their disposal.
How can they be more effective and have a sustainable social impact?
The theme of the conference centres on “Good Governance, Social Impact and Fundraising against All Odds”. With the resources depleting and the need for their services increasing, it has become imperative that requisite endeavours are made to equip the actors and influencers of the sector for sustainable impacts and continued relevance.
This conference is pertinent to the current concerns regarding cuts to the funding across board and the need to deliver on the Local Outcome Improvement Plan in Aberdeen.
Hence, the trajectory of the event is to discuss topics related to the ABCs of maintaining effective and efficient third sector impacts against all odds:
• A – Atmosphere of Good Governance
• B – Building avenues for Social Impact
• C – Creating opportunities for Fundraising
